🏫 What Happens Inside a School Shapes What Happens Inside a Learner

We talk about outcomes, assessments, infrastructure—but behind it all, a school sets the tone.

The School Questionnaire (SQ) in PARAKH Rashtriya Sarvekshan 2024 listens to school heads across Grades 3, 6, and 9—exploring leadership, learning spaces, inclusion, and trust.

📊 Data That Reflects Dedication

What do high-performing schools do differently? A whole lot—with care and clarity.

🧑‍🏫 Leadership & Learning Culture

✅ 97% foster teacher–teacher collaboration

✅ 98% support teachers on pedagogy and students’ emotional needs

✅ 92% conduct regular safety and health audits

📘 These aren’t trends—they’re tools of deeper, more inclusive engagement.

📚 Professional Development & Policy Implementation

❤️ Safety isn’t just physical—it’s emotional, psychological, and consistent.

⚠️ Where Support Still Falls Short

Even strong schools face gaps—especially in student development and inclusive education:

- 🚫 54% of schools don’t offer career guidance for senior grades

- 🚫 60–63% of schools lack accommodations for children with special needs across Grades 3, 6 & 9

- 🚫 59–60% don’t have trained or certified teachers for supporting CWSN learners

📍 Inclusion is more than infrastructure—it’s preparation, care, and skilled support.

🌍 Global Reflections & Local Responses

Global studies show: learning depends on leadership, safety, support, and trust.

India’s SQ echoes this—reminding us to build schools that don’t just deliver education but design belonging.

🚀 From Listening to Leading

Here’s what reform can prioritize next:

- 🎓 Deepen leadership development with a focus on pedagogy and emotional well-being

- 📶 Improve digital access—especially in underserved regions

- 🧩 Scale up inclusion efforts for CWSN and career guidance programs

- 🤝 Strengthen school–community partnerships, making parents allies, not observers

- 🛠️ Ensure safe, resource-rich infrastructure for every learner

🎯 NEP & SDG Alignment: Schools as Changemakers

The School Questionnaire in #PARAKHRashtriyaSarvekshan2024 isn't just about data—it's a blueprint for action. It advances SDG 4.1.1 by championing quality learning spaces,  safe and inclusive infrastructure, and by making equity a shared goal. Most importantly, it echoes the spirit of NEP 2020—where collaboration and child-centered learning drive real change

💬 The School Questionnaire doesn’t just record operations—it reveals commitment. And where schools lead, learning follows.
